Though this place is ethereal, it is rooted and nourished by the stolen ancestral lands of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit,the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Intangible spaces like this one are still embedded in power relations with long histories and shadows. Given that my own ancestors benefitted from the ongoing theft of Indigenous sovereignty, I now take responsibility for my part in fighting for the restoration of Indigenous jurisdiction worldwide.

Personally, I am a being in my late 20's, a PhD student in Anthropology, and a writer, painter, and crafter of all sorts of silly projects that I rarely finish (but I am working on that).
